LDCollege Engineering, Ahmedabad is a leading Engineering College in Gujarat, set targets to spread higher education in various fields of engineering. The Institute is affiliated with Gujarat University and administrated by the Ministry of Technical Education, Gujarat State. Sheth Shri Kasturbhai Lalbhai institute created in 1948 through a generous donation. It is adjacent to Gujarat University and the nucleus of various institutions at both national and PRL, Atira, ISRO, IIM etc. campus is having building for various departments, offices, hotels, library with 38,000 sq ft basement. The Institute made a modest start with 75 students for undergraduate programs in 1948, the graduate programs in 1954. At present the Institute operates 14 first, second, 12-post and 4 part-time programs.
