Mozilla Releases Thunderbird 5, The First Fast Version

Mozilla has delivered two things today: 5 Firefox for PCs and mobile Android, and promises to deliver the browser just months after its predecessor.

Organization, the main challenger of Microsoft Internet Explorer, is facing new challenges - notably Google Chrome, the new versions, which arrive every six weeks. The approval of the same philosophy, Firefox has now tour three months, and today, Mozilla has met for the first time.

"The world of Internet movements at a rate faster than ever, so we realized we had to begin to innovate more quickly," said Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs, in a talk today online product advertising.

New features of Firefox 5 (download for Windows | Mac | Linux | Android) are:

• Support CSS Animations, a technology that allows Web page elements around the screen. It is useful for more dynamic web pages and web applications.

• Add a new plugin SDK, formerly known as Jetpack. This base allows programmers to develop plug-in from web technologies like HTML, XUL, CSS and JavaScript instead of older technology. Expected benefits: the tag is easier to write and does not break new browser versions arrive.

• In the beta testing is one Add-Builder, a Web tool designed to make writing extensions easier.

• Firefox not via technology that allows people to tell the Web sites they do not want to track advertising or otherwise, which now runs on Android phones, too.
